Permaroof Kent roofing services is the exciting new arm of our established roofing company, incorporated in October 2014, and has gone from strength to strength as rubber roofing has increased in popularity. Originally concentrating on residential roofs, the company can now include industrial and commercial fittings to its portfolio.
The Director, Geoff Powderham, started out as a general builder renovating houses, and therefore has a wealth of experience on all aspects of the building trade, which he regularly draws on when installing and repairing flat roofs.
As roofing trends change, we endeavour to keep ahead of our competitors, to offer the customer the most efficient, environmentally friendly options available across the market. Ensuring our knowledge base is kept up to date by attending supplier conferences, seminars and exhibitions we are able to inform customers of the options available to them. Our Kent Roofing Services
We offer a range of services including EPDM flat roof installations, roof replacements and flat roofing repairs, supplied with a 20 year warranty.
For a modern twist on EPDM membrane, we are fully trained in the installation of liquid rubber roofing – which is great for odd shaped roofs, but also for anti slip surfacing. Every it as cost effective as EPDM membrane, the liquid rubber gives a stunning final result. Liquid rubber is also very suited to repairs for leaking flat roofs.
We also carry out installation or replacement of rainwater systems such as guttering, fascias and soffits, all installed to your specifications in a range of colours and using only the highest quality materials.
For something a little different we also offer Green Roof Systems for both residential and commercial installations. Living roofs are growing in popularity and are not only pleasing to the eye, but extremely insulating as well.
For the finishing touches to a new or existing roofing project we are certified to offer insulation checks for Building Regulations, and can also install a vapour barrier to improve your energy efficiency and reduce heat loss in your flat roof.
We also feel it is important that we offer all installations an insurance backed 10 year workmanship guarantee. This is in addition to the 20 year warranty offered on the EPDM.

Rubber roof applied to new extension. “I decided to go for a rubber roof for the longevity and low maintenance; 20 year guarantee plus with Geoff an added insurance backed extra 10 years, this exceeds any felt roofing guarantee and apparently they can last around 50 years. It looks great, very neat and works well with a roof lantern. This is an extremely competitive option, I definitely think rubber is the way forward. Geoff was very knowledgeable and instructed my builder on the preparation for the roof. He was neat, tidy and very professional. A very amiable guy who I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.”
Firestone rubber roof. I am so pleased with the Firestone rubber roof for my flat roof. I can recommend both Geoff and Danny. They are so conscientious in doing a great job. Danny bless came back on Saturday as the weather on Friday was not kind. I felt very comfortable with both of them being at my home.

70m2 FibreGlass Flat roof replaced with EPDM Rubber. Excellent work by Geoff, Dan and Chloe. This was far from an easy job as they had to rectify a number of problems left by a prev builder/roofer. It required detailed planning and creativity to ensure not only did it look good but also that there was sufficient gradient for the water to run off with the added complication of working around a large glass lantern. We are super pleased with the end result, looks amazing and no standing water. The 3 of them worked hard, were a joy to have around, lots of Please and Thank You’s and kept everywhere clean/tidy from day to day. WOULD DEF RECOMMEND
